Day to day duties:
You will be required to support the team with all refits, refurbishments to homes that we support in the North Lanarkshire area.
On daily jobs you will be tasked to go into properties and complete all works that is required. To be successful in this role, you must be able to work independently and as part of a team. You will have the confidence to walk into any property and react to any situation that faces you.
1. Carrying out all joinery works that is required
2. You will be responsible for duties to include but not limited to – hanging fire doors, fixing windows / doors, lock changes, repairing kitchen units & bathrooms
3. Providing high levels of customer care at all times
Role Criteria:
4. Experience in Carpentry
5. Social housing experience
6. A UK full valid driving license
To drive a Mears vehicle, you must be aged over 21 have held your licence over 3 months and have less than 9 points.
Candidates should be aware that all our roles are subject to relevant DBS/Security checks before commencement of employment.
