Join our team at LRLC Pubs, a small, family-run group of pubs and restaurants specializing in Italian cuisine, excellent beer, and exceptional service. With locations in Stoke Newington, Islington, Hackney, Hackney Wick and Wanstead, we are dedicated to providing a warm and inviting atmosphere for our patrons.
We are looking for a bright, proactive person who works well under their own initiative to head up a diverse and challenging role based in our Hackney office. Responsible for all aspects of events, marketing & bookings across five busy bars/restaurants in North & East London, the ideal candidate will play a key role in this expanding company and bring new ideas to the table with the ability to develop and implement them.
Duties include
Marketing:
* Social - Updating and monitoring all social media pages for all sites, paid promo campaigns, sticking to tone and brand for each site, photography and editing, creating content.
* CRM - Maintenance of email marketing, customer databases, loyalty systems.
* Websites - updating menu pages, posting monthly blog updates, basic website maintenance.
* Design - creation and maintenance of menus on InDesign, as well as posters and marketing materials on Photoshop/Canva.
* Overseeing delivery of branded projects: liaising and sourcing photographers/ designers/ web developers/ outside promoters for completion on schedule.
Events
* Diary and calendar management.
* Booking DJs and bands, contacting new promoters and acts, maintaining good working relationships with existing successful ones
* Event promotion and planning for music and for regular weekly events and seasonal events.
* Apply for licence` extensions (TENS) and complete event risk assessments.
* Keeping up to date on sporting fixtures and listings for each site
Reservations
* Manage customer enquiries via Design My Night, Opentable, TagVenue and email
* Updating and maintaining customer database
* Large party organisation for private hires at multiple sites, meeting with customers, managing expectations. Some evening/weekend work will be required to oversee large parties/weddings/etc.
* Ensuring timely filing of invoices with online services & general liasing with accounts departments.
Essential Skills
* Experience in press/ marketing/ events management
* Proficiency in InDesign required, experience in Photoshop desired
* Excellent written & verbal skills; experience writing clear and engaging copy online and in print
* Creative with excellent problem solving, attention to detail and ability to see the bigger picture
* Organised and professional manner
* Ability to manage projects to deadline and on budget
Desirable
* AV equipment maintenance
* Experience with Design My Night & OpenTable
* Knowledge of Wordpress and basic HTML
* Basic knowledge/interest in sporting events
* Experience working in a hospitality environment.
* An interest in pizza & craft beer

Pay: £32,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
