The EPR Training Project Support Officer will be responsible for the provision of a comprehensive administrative and project support function within the EPR Training team, supporting the introduction of an Electronic Patient Record (EPR) solution for Barking, Havering and Redbridge University Hospitals NHS Trust (BHRUT).
The role is responsible for co-ordinating all administrative aspects of the provision of EPR training, including scheduling, communications and logistics management, to enable successful implementation and adoption of the Trust EPR. Reporting to the EPR Training Coordinator, the EPR Project Support Officer will work collaboratively to establish end to end processes for evaluation and provide regular reports on staff feedback. Successful EPR implementation is dependent on all staff being confident and competent in using computers and digital tools and technology. The postholder will play a key role in coordinating digital skills classes for staff and learners within the organisation.
This role is a senior administrative role and will manage any additional administrative staff that are recruited as the programme progresses.
Main duties of the job
·Establishing and maintaining strong lines of communication and relationships both internally and externally
·Being responsible for standing general administrative duties, coordinating and delegating where required
·Managing the EPR Training mailbox, triaging and responding to queries within the scope of the role, delegating where appropriate and escalating if required
·Acting as the primary point of contact for training-related enquiries from staff, learners and trainers
·Communicating with staff requiring training at all levels of the organisation, using advanced communication skills to gain agreement of attendance at scheduled training events
·Co-ordinating and facilitating communications between the EPR training team, Trust departments, and participants to ensure smooth running of the training programme, including e-Learning modules
·Organising and managing training room booking and allocations for training sessions
·Ensuring that trainers have resources and equipment available to undertake scheduled training sessions, maintaining inventory and ordering systems where required
