Network Engineer - DV Cleared - £650 per day via Umbrella - 9-month contract - Lincoln - SCC Flex Contract
We're looking for a DV Cleared Network Engineer to provide on‑site technical support, system administration, and security operations for a growing content network platform.
The role focuses on maintaining system health, supporting daily operations, and implementing improvements as the platform scales.
Your responsibilities as the Network Engineer:
* Maintain and troubleshoot the network and associated systems.
* Perform sysadmin and IT service management tasks.
* Monitor events, faults, and security across the environment.
* Deploy updates, patches, and configuration changes.
* Work with external teams to coordinate updates and improvements.
* Provide documentation, training, and knowledge transfer to internal staff.
As a successful Network Engineer, you will have:
* DV clearance (Developed Vetting)
* Experience with NetApp (ideally ONTAP administration)
* Experience with Fortinet technologies.
* Strong background in network security, cloud security, and security operations.
* Familiarity with ITIL practices.
* Ability to use service management tools such as ServiceNow.
* Strong communication and collaborative working skills.
