Ward Administrator
We have a great opportunity to work as a Ward Administrator at St Richards Hospital, across our Acute Assessment Unit and our Same Day Emergency Care unit. We are looking to recruit a flexible, dynamic, and motivated ward administrator for our fast paced and friendly Inpatient Team to help ensure adequate coverage of duties across a defined group of departments.
You will be working to ensure the efficient and timely admission, transfer, and discharge of patients, dealing with patients' medical notes and being responsible for the accurate and timely input of information into our PAS system for the purposes of patient care and data quality.
Appointment to this role will commence at the lowest salary point unless confirmed otherwise by HR Employment Services (Recruitment, Administration & Terms and Conditions).
There are both part-time positions available and full-time posts where the candidate provides a focused administration service within the Clinical Administration for our patients across AAU & SDEC. Successful candidates should be able to work until 10 pm on some shifts and be flexible with the days they can work.
Successful candidates will be honest, confident, have excellent communication skills, and be successful when prioritising their workload.
Sponsorship
Please note: This role does not meet the minimum criteria for visa sponsorship under the current UK immigration rules, which set specific salary and skill thresholds. As such, we are unable to provide sponsorship for this post. Applicants will therefore need to already have the right to work in the UK to be considered. We include this information at the outset to provide clarity and avoid unnecessary inconvenience for applicants.
If you do not meet the sponsorship requirements, and you are applying using a Graduate visa as your right to work, you must have a minimum of 18 months remaining on your visa at time of application.
