Job Description:
This role is an initial 12-month contract. Working closely with the Head of Business Development and the Marketing and Business Development Director, you will take a lead role in implementing and managing business development initiatives across the firm. The role requires a confident and enthusiastic team player with the ability to manage multiple projects and work with stakeholders at all levels.
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
* Client listening: Collaborate with external consultants to manage client listening strategies, gather insights, and enhance client relationships and experience.
* Intermediaries Program: Manage the firm's Intermediaries Program to foster key relationships and referrals, and adopt best practices.
* Targeting: Coordinate targeting activities with Partners, Office Heads, and Practice Group Heads.
* Key Client Care: Support partners with Key Client Care Plans, suggest improvements, and identify areas for service enhancement.
* Participate in marketing and business development meetings, providing updates on initiatives.
* Collaborate with the wider team on business development projects and support the tenders team during busy periods.
* Manage and follow up on website inquiries.
Qualifications & Skills:
* Degree educated preferred but not essential.
* Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience in business development within accountancy, professional services, or financial services.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Strong stakeholder management, collaboration, and relationship-building skills.
* Attention to detail and self-motivation.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Excellent project management and coordination skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams) and confidence with new technologies like CRM and InDesign.
* Advanced Excel skills, especially managing large data volumes.
