Job Overview
We are looking for a senior leader to head our Cancer Centre (Band 8b/c). The role reports to the Associate Director, Patient Access & Performance and is part of the Chief Operating Officer's portfolio. Responsibilities include leading multi‑disciplinary teams, driving transformational change, managing service budgets and improving cancer outcomes across the Trust.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide strategic leadership for the Cancer Centre, setting vision and ensuring high quality patient care.
* Lead and support change management initiatives to improve service delivery and patient experience.
* Manage the financial performance of the Cancer Centre, delivering services efficiently.
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with clinicians, commissioners and external partners.
* Report on performance and progress to senior leadership and the Board.

* Degree or equivalent knowledge gained through experience.
* Professional management qualification or equivalent.
* Masters qualification in a management discipline.
* Understanding of cancer pathways and targets.

* Experience working with multi‑disciplinary teams.

* Substantial senior management experience.
