Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Domiciliary Manager to oversee the delivery of high-quality care services in a domiciliary setting. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in home care & experience in business start up is advantageous. This role requires excellent leadership and management skills to ensure that our clients receive the best possible support tailored to their individual needs.

Responsibilities

* Lead and manage the domiciliary care team, ensuring high standards of care are maintained at all times.
* Develop, implement, and review personalised care plans for clients, focusing on their unique needs and preferences.
* Supervise staff, providing guidance and support to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices in care delivery.
* Conduct regular assessments of client needs and adjust care plans accordingly, particularly for those with dementia or Alzheimer's.
* Oversee medication administration processes to ensure safety and compliance with relevant guidelines.
* Foster a positive environment that promotes dignity, respect, and independence for all clients.
* Liaise with families, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders to coordinate comprehensive care services.
* Ensure that all staff receive appropriate training and development opportunities to enhance their skills in senior care.

Requirements

* NVQ Level 5
* Full UK Driving License and access to a vehicle with business insurance
* Proven experience in a management role within the senior care sector, preferably as a Registered Manager or similar position.
* Strong background in nursing or related fields with experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or home care settings.
* Knowledge of dementia care principles and practices is essential; experience with Alzheimer's care is highly desirable.
* Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and supervise a diverse team effectively.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
* Familiarity with medication administration protocols and regulatory compliance within the care sector.
* Exceptional communication skills for effective interaction with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
