The right candidate will have the chance to grow their skills and advance their career with a leading Civil Contractor, gaining formal qualifications and enhancing skills with nationally recognized tickets, including a Certificate III in Civil Construction Pipe Laying.
What Opportunities Do We Have for You?
Pipe Layers
* Experience in laying sewer, stormwater, and water mains.
* Ability to perform manual handling and repetitive tasks, including moderate to heavy lifting.
* Skilled in shooting and reducing levels using a Dumpy level.
* Ability to set up pipe laser.
* Ability to read, interpret, and understand plans and standards.
* Confined space, quick cut, front-end loader tickets are desirable.
Excavator Operators
* Experience operating 20+ tonne machines.
* Experience with lifting operations.
* Ability to carry out deep excavations.
* Skilled in working with shoring.
* Capable of trenching, placing pipes, backfilling, and compaction.
Foreman
* Minimum 2 years of experience as a Civil Drainage Foreman.
* Strong understanding of civil pipe principles, especially in residential subdivision works installing deep sewer, stormwater, and water mains.
* Knowledge of adverse ground conditions.
* Comprehensive understanding of current SEQ standards.
* Strong commitment to OHS and safe work practices.
* Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Plant machinery tickets are highly regarded.
