Restore Nature Delivery Manager - Bringsty Summary The Restore Nature Delivery Manager will lead the Nature Strategy across Herefordshire. They will line manage our Lead Ranger and two Area Rangers ensuring a consistency across a diverse portfolio of properties. Whilst understanding the day to day management they will lead our strategic work, improving access, delivering nature conservation projects, building effective and collaborative relationships with partners and engaging with our outdoor visitors. You will have the satisfaction of looking after complex habitats, improving these for future generations and bringing them to life for our visitors today. What you'll be doing You will drive forward our ambition to improve the state of nature, helping to develop the land we look after. Working with our tenants as well as external partners to improve nature across the County. Working across the portfolio will give you opportunity to drive forward our ambitions to create fantastic natural habitats, from caring for Lancelot 'Capability' Brown's last landscape at Berrington, working with our tenant farmer to deliver ambitious nature friendly farming at Brilley and Brockhampton. To caring for SSSI and SAM features along with some of the finest veteran trees in Western Europe at Croft. Who we're looking for We’d love to hear from you if you have: Leadership ability to motivate teams and drive landscape-scale nature recovery. Ecological or land management expertise, with the ability to apply technical knowledge to practical restoration. Experience in countryside management or projects, including strong communication and team coordination skills. Strong partnership skills, able to build and maintain effective relationships with diverse stakeholders. Financial awareness and experience managing budgets to achieve strategic outcomes.
