Building Manager – Re:volve Real Estate
Location: Didsbury, Manchester
Working Hours: Monday–Friday, 7:30am–4:00pm | On-site full-time
The Job:
Re:volve Real Estate is looking for an experienced, proactive, and service-driven Building Manager to take full operational responsibility for a key commercial site in Didsbury. You will be the main point of contact for tenants, visitors, and contractors, ensuring smooth day-to-day building operations and an outstanding occupier experience.
This is a hands-on role with autonomy and responsibility. You'll have the opportunity to directly shape how the building is run and contribute to tenant satisfaction and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities
Tenant Experience & Engagement
Deliver excellent customer service at all times
Act as primary contact for tenants, visitors, and contractors
Address enquiries efficiently and maintain positive occupier relationships
Building & Operational Management
Full operational responsibility for the site
Monitor building performance, proactively identifying maintenance or operational improvements
Conduct inspections and manage repair programs
Contractor & Compliance Oversight
Supervise contractors to ensure work is safe and to standard
Maintain compliance with Health & Safety, environmental, and statutory requirements
Keep records, asset registers, and testing documentation up to date
Health & Safety & Systems Management
Promote a safe and compliant working environment
Monitor building systems (CCTV, alarms, access control) and liaise with specialists when needed
Support statutory inspections and safety procedures
About You
Proven experience in a Building Manager or Facilities Management role
Strong tenant engagement and customer service skills
Confidence managing contractors and coordinating works
Proactive, hands-on, and able to take ownership
Knowledge of building systems and Health & Safety requirements
IOSH or NEBOSH qualifications desirable
