About the Role
Industry: Electric Vehicle (EV) Charging & Smart Technology
We are seeking an experienced Retail & Wholesale Business Manager / Director to lead and scale our B2B and B2C operations within the fast-growing EV charging and smart technology sector. This is a senior leadership position suited to a commercially driven professional with the ability to oversee operations, compliance, sales strategy, and business performance at management and director level.
The successful candidate will take responsibility for running key parts of the business — from legal and regulatory oversight to commercial growth, operational management, and strategic expansion.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead day-to-day management of retail and wholesale EV product operations
* Drive B2B and B2C sales growth, partnerships, and distribution channels
* Oversee business compliance, contracts, and regulatory obligations
* Develop and execute commercial strategies to expand market share
* Manage supplier relationships, procurement, and product pipelines
* Supervise staff, set KPIs, and ensure high operational performance
* Handle budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance monitoring
* Support brand positioning and expansion into new markets
* Ensure smooth coordination between sales, operations, and leadership
Candidate Requirements
* Degree holder (Business, Management, Engineering, or related field)
* Proven experience in retail, wholesale, or technology product environments
* Strong understanding of business operations, legal frameworks, and compliance
* Demonstrated leadership and managerial capability at senior level
* Commercially astute with strong negotiation and decision-making skills
* Ability to run business functions independently and strategically
* Experience in EV, energy, or technology sectors is highly desirable
* Excellent communication, organisational, and analytical skills
