Overview
Locum Consultant Breast Radiologist role at Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust. The post is initially offered for 12 months with a view to a substantive appointment.
Responsibilities
* Collaborate with the 8 colleagues within Breast Imaging to maintain a comprehensive, high-quality screening and symptomatic breast service.
* Be part of a wider team of radiologists providing subspecialty and General Radiology services across the Trust.
* Contribute to a full range of radiology diagnostic services including CT, MRI, plain film reporting, and ultrasound examinations.
* Support the growth in demand for Breast services at NUH and provide reciprocal cover for periods of leave.
* Contribute to Diagnostic services at Queen’s Medical Centre, City Campus, Nottingham Treatment Centre and possibly the region via EMRAD.
* Fulfil NHS duties within the agreed Job Plans and maintain high standards of patient care.
Qualifications
* Fellowship of the Royal College of Radiologists (RCR).
* Completed Breast Imaging Training within a symptomatic service.
* Eligibility for inclusion on the Specialist Register, within 6 months of CTT at the time of interview; NHSBSP experience desirable.
Further Information
The appointee will be expected to provide emergency and elective radiology services for the Trust and work with Consultant colleagues to ensure comprehensive care for patients in their charge.
