The Company
Our client, Yamazaki Mazak, is a leading global manufacturing company based in Worcester. This is an excellent opportunity to join a market-leading machine tool manufacturer at the forefront of the industry.
An opportunity has arisen to join the Service Department as a Field Breakdown Engineer. This role would suit an electrically or mechanically qualified engineer. Full training will be provided, with the successful candidate becoming a key member of the Service Team.

Job Description
This UK-based role involves supporting customers with Mazak machines. Duties include installation, programming, and breakdown support across a range of machines, including milling, turning centres, and 5-axis machines.
Reporting to the Service Co-ordinator, the role is ideally suited to an engineer based in the South East. Regular travel is required, including working away across the UK and Ireland.
Essential Criteria
Basic programme experience (Mazak / Siemens / Heidenhain)
Understanding of machine tool levelling, alignment, and geometry
Knowledge of different control systems
Experience with Mazatrol controls and Mazak machines
Professional, customer-focused approach
Flexible, with willingness to work overtime and weekends
Clean driving licence
Strong problem-solving ability
Transferable skills across multiple machine models
Desirable Criteria
5-axis knowledge
Experience of report writing
