Weekend Supervisor (Barista Experience Essential)
We are a busy, family-run café/restaurant seeking a confident and experienced Weekend Supervisor to join our close-knit team.
Barista experience is essential, this role requires someone who is fully confident on the coffee machine and able to lead service from the front.
The Role
This is a hands-on supervisory position, primarily covering weekends with some weekday availability required. You will act as an extension of the owners, ensuring smooth service, strong team leadership, and consistently high standards.
You must be comfortable running a busy coffee service while managing the team and supporting the floor.
Key Responsibilities
* Leading weekend shifts and overseeing service
* Confidently preparing high-quality espresso-based drinks
* Supporting and training junior team members
* Handling customer queries and maintaining service standards
* Opening and closing the venue
* Supporting stock control and compliance
* Assisting with events planning, management & social media
* Maintaining a positive, team-focused atmosphere
What We're Looking For
* Proven barista experience (essential)
* Previous supervisory or team-leading experience (preferred)
* Calm under pressure in busy service periods
* Strong communication and leadership skills
* Reliable, organised, and proactive

Hours
* Weekend shifts essential

Pay
Competitive rate depending on experience.
Pay: £12.50-£13.50 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
