Overview
Sovrin Medical Plastics is an ISO 13485 certified, contract manufacturer, supplying Precision Injection Mouldings, Assemblies and Medical Devices to the Pharmaceutical, Drug Delivery and Healthcare industries. The role is a hands-on position in a modern toolroom focused on servicing Injection mould tools, making and servicing jigs and fixtures. This is an on-site day shift position in Slough.
Responsibilities
* Service and repair Injection mould tools in a modern toolroom.
* Carry out modifications as required and service jigs and fixtures.
* Work with general workshop machining methods such as milling, turning and surface grinding.
Qualifications
* Track record in precision engineering.
* Previous experience of Injection Mould Tools is an advantage.
* Proven experience of common workshop machining methods (milling, turning, surface grinding) is essential.
* Experience of CNC/CAD-CAM and/or EDM would be beneficial, but training can be provided where required.
Employment Details
* Job type: Full-time, Permanent.
* Remuneration package commensurate with qualifications and experience. Overtime available.
* 25 days holiday + Bank holidays and sick pay scheme.
* On-site day shift; you must live within commuting distance of Slough.
