Responsibilities
The role will cover classes during both planned and unplanned teacher absences, providing essential support across all subjects, ensuring students’ learning progresses uninterrupted. By ensuring the classroom is a calm and focused environment, you contribute to student achievement and advancement, delivering an excellent education to every child, in every classroom, every day.
Essential Qualities and Qualifications
* Knowledge of a range of strategies to deal with whole-class behaviour and individual behavioural needs.
* L2 qualifications/GCSE in Maths and English (Grade 4) or equivalent. In one section there is mention of a bachelor’s degree; we preserve this language accordingly:
* A bachelor’s degree in a suitable subject.
* Experience of working with children and young people.
* Ability to build positive relationships with all students and colleagues.
