Are you an experienced CMM Programmer looking to step into a hands-on leadership role? Want to shape inspection strategy and drive best-in-class metrology within a high-precision engineering environment?
Were looking for a technically strong, detail-focused CMM professionalto lead a team of inspectors at a well-established manufacturing site in Lincolnshire. You'll take ownership of the inspection and metrology function leading from the front, developing CMM programs, and mentoring the wider team!
What Youll Be Doing As a CMM Programmer
* Leading Quality Control function to establish world-class inspection and metrology processes
* Inspection of components through CMM or manual methods
* Setting and adjusting CMM programs
* Ensuring all quality documents are maintained and completed accurately
* Liaising with other departments on quality related matters for resolution
* Leading and developing a team, implementing training plans, and supporting ongoing career development.
Person Requirement for the CMM Programmer
A strong inspection background with at least 5 years' experience, ideally coming through an apprenticeship, HNC or HND route.
* Proven ability to program and operate CMMs
* Deep understanding of engineering drawings, tolerances, and metrology principles
* Experience working withinregulated manufacturing industries
* Confident leadership and communication skills with the ability to mentor and train others
