Business Development Manager • Amazon • University of LEEDS ‘23 Cohort
Crown Fund is expanding rapidly in the consulting and advisory sector and is looking for a driven and entrepreneurial Graduate Business Consultant to join our growing team. As we scale through 2025 and beyond, we seek talented individuals who thrive in dynamic environments and are passionate about solving complex business challenges and building long-term client relationships.
The ideal candidate is proactive, strategic, and highly organized, with a strong foundation in business analysis, client engagement, and project management. You will directly impact Crown Fund’s success through business development, client onboarding, and delivery of tailored consulting solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
* Identify and target new business opportunities through research, networking, client referrals, and industry events.
* Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of potential clients and consulting projects using CRM tools like Salesforce.
* Conduct thorough business diagnostics on client organizations, including market research, financial analysis, and operational assessments.
* Create tailored consulting proposals that align with client goals and Crown Fund’s growth strategy.
* Lead client meetings and presentations, delivering insights and strategic recommendations on business development, growth, and optimization.
* Negotiate terms and close consulting engagements in collaboration with Legal and Finance teams, ensuring favorable agreements for all parties.
* Manage end-to-end onboarding of new clients and consulting projects, coordinating internally with Operations, Compliance, and Finance.
* Monitor project performance through regular reporting, client feedback loops, and proactive project adjustments.
* Collaborate with Marketing to develop campaigns that promote Crown Fund’s consulting offerings and thought leadership.
* Support strategic initiatives, including the development of new service lines, frameworks, and market entry strategies.
* Continuously refine internal consulting processes to improve client experience, operational efficiency, and service delivery standards.
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends, business consulting practices, industry regulations, and competitor activities.
A Day in the Life:
You will spend your day researching new opportunities, analyzing client challenges, preparing strategic recommendations, and managing onboarding and delivery processes. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful execution of consulting engagements. Success will require strong analytical skills, client relationship management, and a proactive, solutions-driven mindset.
Basic Qualifications:
* Background in business consulting, strategy development, business development, or client services.
* Strong analytical, research, and project management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Economics, or a related field.
* Experience with business analysis tools, CRM platforms, or project management software.
