We are looking for full-time Drivers Mates to join us at our site in Chepstow. This role is temp to perm for the ideal candidate.
What You'll Do On a Typical Day
* Assist with white goods deliveries, accompanied by a driver's mate.
* Execute two types of deliveries: home deliveries and kerbside deliveries.
* For home deliveries, transport items to the customer\'s room of choice, including carrying items to homes that may be several stories high.
* For kerbside deliveries, hand off items directly to individuals on building sites.
* Deliver items such as white goods (e.g., dishwashers, washing machines, fridges), kitchen units, and worktops.
* Handle multidrop deliveries, with the number of stops varying daily.
* Use a handheld scanner and complete all necessary paperwork.
* Physical fitness is essential for this role due to the nature of the work.
* Strong communication skills and a positive demeanour are required for direct interaction with customers.
What You Need To Succeed
* Cat B licence preferred.
* No more than six penalty points on your licence and no DD, DR, IN or CD endorsements.
* Multidrop delivery experience.
* Excellent knowledge of the UK road network.
* A can-do attitude.
