Personnel Support Group Warrant Officer The Personnel Support Group (PSG), known as Invincible Squadron, is the Section at RNAS Culdrose responsible for the assurance, oversight, coordination and continuous improvement of the moral component of operational capability. These responsibilities are realised by: Assisting with the recovery of personnel assigned to Squadrons, departments and units, back to being medically fully deployable and available for normal assignment as quickly as possible. Taking Divisional responsibility for: All personnel landed and in the MA7 margins. All RNAS Culdrose PSG Staff. Providing guidance and support to Squadrons, departments and units regarding the maintenance of morale, discipline and welfare, and to support training needs in accordance with BR3. PURPOSE Primary Purpose. To act as OiC of Invincible Squadron. Secondary Purposes: To act as Divisional Officer to the PSG Professional Divisional Officer and the PSG LMA/POMA. Interview and assess the needs of individuals assigned to the PSG and hold regular meetings with the PSG staff to evaluate their requirements. To liaise and interact with other departments and agencies (e.g. medical, DCMH, NPFS, chaplaincy) and provide SME input where required. This may also include civilian police, hospitals, prospective employers and parents/guardians (U18 or with permission over 18s). Attend the monthly Carers’ Meetings and attend Case Conferences as required. Maintain good order, discipline and Naval Service Core Values throughout the PSG. Maintain contact as required with the widely dispersed PSG personnel, conducting hospital, prison or home visits to PSG personnel as appropriate. To provide advice to Divisional Officers so that those within the PSG may effectively fulfil their responsibilities and duties. To mentor Divisional Officers so they may effectively fulfil their responsibilities and duties. Act as the DO to any Officers and CPOs assigned to the PSG. AUTHORITY Is Authorised to: Assess the needs of individuals assigned to the PSG to evaluate their requirements. Liaise with departments, agencies and personnel as necessary, including, but not limited to, medical centres, DCMH, NPFS, chaplaincy, civilian police, hospitals, prospective employers and parents / guardians / support network. To conduct hospital, prison or home visits to PSG personnel as appropriate. Convene, and chair as appropriate, Case Conferences. Provide specific advice and support to Divisional Officers on personnel support matters. Conduct regular CPD training events. SUPERIOR The CU PSG WARRANT OFFICER is accountable to CU 1Lt and SO1 WRTM.
