The Training & Education Specialist will be responsible for identifying, developing, and executing educational programs that address both internal and external training needs within the assigned territory for Cardiac Ablation Solutions (CAS). This role plays a key part in ensuring clinical and commercial excellence through high‑quality, tailored educational initiatives that enhance procedural adoption, clinical outcomes, and team competencies.
Responsibilities
* Collect, analyze, and prioritize training and education needs from the field, including feedback from physicians, hospital staff, and internal Medtronic teams.
* Design, coordinate, and deliver educational activities (workshops, proctorships, peer‑to‑peer sessions, internal trainings, etc.) to meet identified learning objectives and support therapy adoption.
* Partner closely with Clinical, Sales, and Marketing teams to ensure alignment of educational strategies with business objectives and clinical initiatives.
* Ensure that all training activities are compliant with company policies and regulatory requirements, maintaining a consistent, high‑quality educational experience across the region.
* Act as a key point of contact for education‑related topics within the territory, providing on‑site support and ensuring continuous learning for both internal and external stakeholders.
* Maintain a strong connection to the Field Sales Force to ensure understanding, and support the Nordic teams in educational activities such as local and regional education events.
Qualifications
* University degree in Biomedical Engineering, Medicine, or a related scientific discipline.
* Deep understanding of cardiac electrophysiology, ablation procedures, and related technologies (RF, Cryo, Pulsed Field Ablation, Mapping Systems, etc.).
* Proven ability to teach and train clinical professionals in complex procedural settings.
* Strong teamwork skills and experience collaborating in cross‑functional environments.
* Excellent communication and presentation abilities as well as strong organizational and project management skills.
* Willingness to travel up to 60% of working time.
* Previous experience in a similar Training & Education, Clinical, or Field Specialist role within the medical device industry and in managing or supporting educational events, physician training programs, or proctorship activities would be a clear advantage.
