Are you a self-driven and solution-oriented business development / sales professional with an eye for uncovering opportunities? Want to join a niche industry with a large-scale meaningful impact? Air Partner's Bracknell-based acquisition, Kenyon International, is seeking a highly organized Business Development Executive / Manager to play a pivotal role in researching new markets, understanding the competitive landscape, and tracking down high-potential leads.

This role requires you to forge purposeful relationships with our clients and take an empathetic approach to dealing with the critical and sensitive subject matter of Kenyon's offerings.

You Will:


(Service Delivery)

* Identify and manage opportunities for additional sales
* Keep an up-to-date sales pipeline by tracking leads, opportunities, and prospects using the company’s CRM system
* Assist in client communications to support sales initiatives
* Conduct market research to identify new sales and upselling opportunities, monitor industry trends, and analyse competitor activities
* Collect and analyse data to develop insights that improve sales strategies based on client and market feedback
* Support the preparation and submission of proposals for commercial tenders and RFPs
* Maintain a strong understanding of the department’s functions and key areas within Kenyon, including Operations, Consultancy & Training Sales, Renewals, and Tender Execution
* Ensure the accurate preparation and handling of business documents such as proposals, contracts, work agreements, invoices, and credit control
* Take photographs during events and provide them to Kenyon’s marketing team
* Work closely with marketing, product development, and customer support teams to align strategies and improve the customer experience
* Manage multiple tasks effectively, prioritise workload, and adapt to changing circumstances when needed


(Commercial Planning)

* Routinely review internal/external announcements, schedules, and calendars related to Commercial Services activities
* Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to stay competitive and adapt strategies accordingly
* Be willing to work within the Kenyon Crisis Management Centre and support during deployments, which may require additional or weekend hours during operations (infrequent)
* Identify and oversee Kenyon’s attendance at appropriate industry events to increase brand awareness and drive growth
* Provide assistance to conferences, symposiums, and meetings for activities in the commercial scope
* Maintain periodic communication with lead organisations and attend trade shows
* Assist in developing the business commercial cycle


(Business Development)

* Research potential accounts, identify key players, work with Account Managers to develop inroads, and generate interest from new clients and industries
* Drive sales and build new and productive relationships with customers / potential customers through inbound and outbound sales activity
* Develop sales opportunities, convert pipeline prospects into sales, and negotiate contracts for services and consultancy/training agreements in line with company policies
* Prepare and submit client tenders in a timely manner and present professionally and confidently (as required)
* Assist other Kenyon staff or associates with commercially focused travel as needed
* Grow revenue from existing clients and through new client acquisition
* Provide expert guidance and recommendations to clients, highlighting the value of our offerings
* Identify opportunities and develop business cases for new service offerings
* Liaise with managers across the business to ensure Business Development is aligned with available resources


(Customer Relationship Management)

* Prepare and conduct briefings for current and prospective clients
* Regularly assess client needs, challenges, and opportunities to tailor solutions
* Provide direct customer care support to Kenyon clients, including proactive outreach
* Occasional international travel for liaison with airports, airlines, external suppliers, and customers
* Engage with clients to ensure expectations are exceeded and opportunities to expand our portfolio are identified
* Respond within 24 hours to sales enquiries


(Finance Management)

* Review and jointly approve key procurement contracts to protect company interests
* Negotiate terms and pricing with potential clients to secure new contracts


(People Management)

* Build strategic partnerships to drive growth
* Lead and optimise Business Development team performance
* Foster collaboration, knowledge sharing, and accountability
* Support teammates and step in when needed
* Promote learning, mentorship, and professional growth
