Are you an experienced Office Administrator looking for a new challenge? This is a wonderful opportunity to join a fantastic two-form entry Catholic Primary School administration team.
St. Edward’s Catholic Primary School is a vibrant, inclusive and forward-thinking school, with a reputation of high academic standards; a strong ethos and an enriched curriculum that pupils enjoy. Our Governing Body are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and highly skilled administrator to join our team.
Due to the upcoming retirement of our current School Administrator we are currently looking to appoint a Senior School Administrator to join our administration team. The successful candidate will be required to undertake reception duties and provide clerical support to the Head Teacher, Business Manager and Senior School Staff. The main duties will include forming an integral part of the Attendance Team to ensure processes and procedures are followed effectively, meeting and greeting visitors, answering incoming phone calls, handling incoming and outgoing mail, dealing with and reporting any issues that arise, clerical duties such as word processing. General financial administration will also be a requirement of the role, including banking procedures, cash management, chasing debt and to have a knowledge of inputting orders and invoices.
To be successful in this role, you will need excellent interpersonal, communication and organisational skills and be able to work in a busy and varied environment. You will be efficient and highly competent in using ICT packages, inc. Publisher, Word and Excel and have the ability to work on your own initiative. Prior experience of working in office administration is essential. Experience of working in a school setting and a good knowledge of SIMs is also desirable but not essential as intensive training will be provided.
The ideal candidate must show a willingness to fully embrace the Catholic ethos of the school.
