CNC Operator

£16.00 per hour

Our client is looking for a CNC Operator to join their company with immediate start available! As a CNC Machine Operator, you will play a crucial role in producing high-quality components and parts using state-of-the-art computer numerical control (CNC) machinery.
Duties include:
* Set up and operate CNC machines to perform machining operations according to specifications.
* Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work orders to determine machine setup, tool selection, and programming requirements.
* Load materials into the machine and ensure proper alignment for accurate machining.
* Monitor machine operations and adjust as necessary to maintain quality standards and productivity.
* Inspect finished products to ensure they meet the required specifications and quality standards.
* Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure their optimal performance.
* Troubleshoot and resolve basic machine malfunctions or programming errors.
* Collaborate with team members to optimise production processes and achieve production targets.
* Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organised work environment.
* Any other duties required.
The successful candidate will have / be:
* Proven experience as a CNC Machine Operator or similar role.
* Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and work instructions.
* Ability to set up machines and select appropriate tools and materials.
* High attention to detail.
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
