The Role
As the IT Engineer, you will:
1. Provide IT support via phone, email and in person for a range of hardware, software and in-house systems
2. Set up and configure desktop and laptop equipment, ensuring systems are ready for use
3. Diagnose and resolve issues across PCs, laptops, servers, networks, internet connectivity and telephony
4. Support Windows 10 and 11, Windows Server and, Active Directory, Office and SQL Server
5. Assist with line-of-business applications and internal systems
6. Escalate complex issues where appropriate and work collaboratively with the wider IT team
7. Travel to UK sites when required
Required Experience
8. At least 2 years in an IT Support or IT Engineer role
9. Strong knowledge of Active Directory administration
10. Experience with Windows Server operating systems
11. Confident supporting PCs, laptops and core Microsoft technologies
12. Good communication skills, both written and verbal
13. Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem solving
14. Full UK driving licence
