Finatal are working with a Private Equity-backed, high-growth SaaS business to hire a Chief Financial Officer at a pivotal stage in its journey, offering a unique opportunity to join a scaling international platform with a clear path to exit within the next two years.
The business is currently at £100m ARR, and scaling rapidly having been under Private Equity ownership for the past two years, the company is now focused on scaling ahead of a planned exit.
The Role
As CFO, you will act as a strategic partner to the CEO and Board, leading the business through its next phase of growth and towards a successful exit.
Key responsibilities include:
* Driving revenue growth and margin expansion
* Leading cost optimisation and efficiency initiatives
* Enhancing financial planning, forecasting, and reporting
* Improving visibility and insight across revenue operations
* Bringing structure and clarity to a multi-product, multi-region business
* Supporting organic growth initiatives and M&A activity
This role requires a highly commercial finance leader who can operate at both a strategic and hands-on level in a fast-paced, PE-backed environment.
Candidate Profile
* Proven experience scaling a SaaS business through the £80m–£120m ARR range
* A track record within Private Equity-backed environments
* Strong commercial acumen and the ability to partner closely with a CEO
* Board-level experience and stakeholder management expertise
* Prior involvement in an exit process
* Experience with M&A or bolt-on acquisitions
