Dive into a world of opportunity and join our team! We are looking for a Regulation Compliance Senior Specialist (Drinking Water and Environment) to join our Quality Regulation and Compliance Team. In this pivotal role, you will act as a senior specialist, providing strategic insight and technical leadership for drinking water and environmental compliance. You will influence national policy, shape long-term compliance strategies, lead assurance and verification activities that protect public health and the environment. Key responsibilities Build strong, trusted relationships with the Drinking Water Inspectorate, Environment Agency, and Defra through regular liaison, ensuring regulatory strategies are successfully delivered Lead national forums and contribute to policy development relating to water and environmental regulatory compliance. Acting as an internal regulator, providing expert guidance to internal teams Develop and refine compliance monitoring and data assurance processes. Ensure timely and accurate compliance returns and reporting. Drive investigations and embed lessons learned across the business. Degree level (or equivalent qualification/experience) in environmental science, water engineering, or a related regulatory discipline. Experience in water industry regulation and compliance, it is recognised this may be preferentially water or environmental Knowledge of Environmental Permitting Regulations, Drinking Water Regulations, standards, and compliance frameworks. Excellent communication, influencing and negotiation skills. Ability to lead complex investigations and resolve issues.
