What the Job Involves As a Social Worker in the Looked After Children Service, you will focus on developing quality Life-story work, undertaking regular visits, and creatively engaging with children and families. You will coordinate and implement safety and welfare plans, assess risks using the Signs of Safety practice model, and ensure children’s cases are managed in alignment with statutory guidance and local safeguarding policies. Working in partnership with family and professional networks, you will contribute to enhancing support and care for children.
