Contract Product Manager (Online Checkouts) - Consumer Services Business - £575-625 per day (6 months, outside IR35) - Hybrid (1 day, London)
Working for a global e-commerce business, the Product Manager (Online Checkout) / B2C Product Manager role will involve optimising an online checkout flow (web), incorporating up-selling and cross-selling to make payment a seamless journey for customers.
The company’s core markets are the UK and US, but they are continuing to scale across continental Europe in the coming months; the Product Manager (Checkout) / B2C Product Manager will need to have a good understanding of how legal changes across global markets can affect checkout/pricing and localise accordingly.
This is a 6-month contract outside IR35 reporting into the Senior Product Manager. It is a hands-on hybrid role with at least 1 day per week in central London. There is a strong chance this will convert to perm.
Candidates for the Product Manager (Checkout) / B2C Product Manager role will:
* Optimise the checkout journey to make it a smooth payment experience.
* Adapt checkout flows across global markets according to legal changes.
* Need to manage multiple requests and demands from various stakeholders.
* Incorporate up-selling and cross-selling at checkout.
* Work successfully with a broad range of teams (engineering, design, and testing).
* Need to adjust the roadmap and re-prioritise regularly.
* Work with third parties for inventory and payments.
Candidates for the Product Manager (Checkout) / B2C Product Manager role must have:
* Strong checkout experience within large B2C ecommerce organisations (e.g. retail, marketplaces, travel, airlines). Ideal companies include Trivago, Hotels.com, Expedia etc
* Experience working across global markets.
* Ability to work well in high-pressure environments (with competing priorities and multiple stakeholders to manage).
* Ability to work hands-on and independently (without instructions) as needed.
