BAYADA Home Health Care is excited to invite a passionate Physical Therapist (PT) to join our dedicated team in Greenville, NC. This is a fantastic per diem opportunity where you will make a real difference in the lives of our adult and geriatric clients through home health visits.
As a vital member of our multi-disciplinary health care team, you will provide rehabilitative care that empowers clients to receive the medical attention they need to thrive at home.
Your Responsibilities
As a Physical Therapist, you will:
* Conduct home visits to clients in designated geographic areas.
* Perform diagnostic tests and measurements, assessing mobility, strength, endurance, and safety.
* Implement protective interventions to prevent wound formation and promote healing.
* Develop and execute individualized care plans, including therapeutic exercises and gait training.
* Continuously assess and update the Physical Therapy care plan in collaboration with nursing staff.
* Educate clients and their families on rehabilitative care and independent living strategies.
* Document observations and interventions accurately using a state-of-the-art touch pad tablet.
Your Qualifications
We are looking for candidates who have:
* A current North Carolina Physical Therapist license.
* A degree from an accredited program recognized by the American Physical Therapy Association.
* The ability to work independently and manage your time effectively.
* Strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
* Solid computer skills; experience with electronic medical records (EMR) is a plus.
