Overview
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Electrical Shift Engineer to join a leading facilities management provider, servicing a high-profile Critical Environment in Thurrock, Essex. Responsibilities
* Conduct Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive electrical maintenance.
* Respond to emergency callouts and ensure issues are resolved efficiently.
* Work on electrical systems including lighting, wiring, alarms, BMS, and distribution.
* Carry out minor general building maintenance (e.g. drainage, sinks, tiling).
* Perform fault finding on systems such as AHUs, FCUs, UPS, Generators, LV systems.
* Operate and manage BMS controls (Head End preferred).
* Maintain and repair HVAC plant, VAV/VRV systems, and water treatment systems.
Qualifications
* City & Guilds Level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical Installation or a related trade.
* Minimum 3 years' experience in building services or facilities maintenance.
* Sound knowledge of building systems with strong fault‑finding abilities.
* Positive attitude with a desire to grow and develop within the role.
