Tunnicliffe Signs & Graphics are Cheshire's leading sign making and vehicle graphics manufacturers. A family business established for more than 30 years, we manufacture and install a wide range of signage and vehicle graphics projects for customers in Cheshire and nationwide.
We are looking for an experienced vehicle graphics technician to join our small, friendly team.
The successful candidate will carry out a wide range of installations, from full wraps of commercial fleets, to design and application of custom decals and de-chroming. The majority of our work is carried out from the dedicated vehicle graphics bay at our workshop in Macclesfield, with occasional travel to customer sites. With an excellent reputation for delivering custom vehicle graphics to the highest standards, we thrive on repeat business and referrals from our satisfied customers.
Key duties:
* Carry out a wide range of installations for commercial and private customers, including full and partial wraps, custom decals, magnetic signage and dechroming
* Collaborate with sales, design and production teams to ensure successful project delivery. For example, advising on feasibility of customer requests, suitability of materials, design/fitting constraints for specific vehicles, and installation timescales
* Prepare vehicles thoroughly prior to installation, including cleaning, surface preparation, and minor disassembly
* Identify and troubleshoot potential application challenges, ensuring minimal downtime during installations
* Maintain an organised, clean, and safe working environment at all times
Skills & experience required:
* 2 years' professional vehicle wrapping experience preferred, including commercial vehicles
* Proficiency in wrapping a wide variety of vehicle types and panel complexities
* Full manual UK driving licence essential
* Extensive knowledge of materials and application techniques (certifications advantageous)
* Strong problem-solving abilities, and the capability to work to tight deadlines
* Confident communicator, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
* Excellent attention to detail, and commitment to producing work of the highest standard
Working hours are Monday to Friday 8am - 4:30pm, with a 3:30pm finish on Fridays.
