This is a brilliant opportunity for a Newly Qualified Care Solicitor to join one of the largest family teams in the country.
You’ll work closely with colleagues across Sheffield and Rotherham, managing a mixed caseload of public law children matters and supporting the wider family department.

Who we’re looking for
 4. Solicitor with experience or exposure to public law childcare cases
 5. Ability to manage your own caseload, or ready to step up with training
 6. Advocacy skills
 7. Children Law Accreditation
 8. Down-to-earth, collaborative and client-focused
 9. Open to NQ upwards, though salary brackets suit up to senior solicitor level
What you’ll be doing
 10. Managing a caseload of care and pre-proceedings work, plus some private children cases
 11. Advising on child protection, fostering, adoption, and special guardianship
 12. Conducting advocacy and attending PLO meetings where required
 13. Working autonomously while being part of a supportive 11-strong care team
 14. Contributing ideas for BD and client service improvements
Salary & Benefits
 15. Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience (up to c.£55k)
 16. Holiday: 30 days + bank holidays (Christmas shutdown not taken out of entitlement)
