Design System Lead - Big Impact, Real Ownership
Do you want to own and shape a Design System used by hundreds of thousands of users?
If so, we’re partnering with a market-leading UK digital platform that’s investing heavily in the next evolution of its Design System (v2 and beyond) andddd they’re looking for a hands-on Design Systems Lead to take true ownership!
This is a high-impact role where you’ll define how the system works today and where it goes tomorrow.
With this, you'll sit at the heart of design, product and engineering where you'll be building scalable foundations that power multiple products and experiences
By serving over 500,000 customers and managing nearly £75 billion in assets, your work will have visibility across a huge, real-world audience
ANDDDD every component you design touches multiple products and customer touchpoint meaning you'll be directly improving usability, accessibility and consistency!
What they’re looking for
️ Extensive experience in UI / Interaction Design with strong Design System ownership
️ Expert-level Figma skills
️ Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
️ Confident running workshops and facilitating discussions
Nice to have
Storybook or similar component libraries
Accessibility and inclusive design experience
Experience driving adoption at scale
