Job Title: Special Needs Care Worker

Salary: £13.68 – 16.12 per hour (Depending on experience)

Responsibilities of the Special Needs Care Worker:
* Provide personal care and support to individuals with SEN, ensuring their comfort and well-being.
* Assist with daily routines, learning activities, and therapeutic sessions.
* Foster a safe, positive, and inclusive environment tailored to individual needs.
* Work closely with teachers, therapists, and other staff to implement personalised care plans.
* Encourage independence, communication, and social interaction among students.
* Use specialist equipment when required and follow health and safety protocols.
Qualifications of the Special Needs Care Worker:
* Previous experience in SEN support, care work, or a related field (preferred but not essential).
* A caring, patient, and empathetic approach to supporting individuals with additional needs.
* Ability to work flexibly and adapt to a variety of needs and situations.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills.
* Relevant certifications in care or SEN support (desirable but not essential).

* Have the right to work in the UK.
* Have an up-to-date CV with two relevant references from the last two years.
* Possess an enhanced DBS registered to the update service or be willing to apply for one through GSL Education.
