Our client is a well-established supplier of automotive parts and components with over 25 years of experience serving customers across the UK. Due to continued growth, they are seeking a motivated Business Development Executive to help expand their customer base and strengthen their market presence within the automotive sector.
Key Responsibilities as a Business Development Executive:
Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities across the UK.
Build and maintain strong relationships with both new and existing customers.
Manage and grow key accounts to maximise long-term revenue.
Work closely with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
Prepare quotes, source parts, and support customers throughout the sales process.
Deliver excellent service from initial contact through to after-sales support.
Monitor account performance and provide monthly reports with recommendations for growth.
Split time between the office and visiting customers nationwide.
Work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure smooth order processing and customer satisfaction.Requirements for this Business Development Executive role:
A driven, target-focused sales professional with a passion for business development.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Strong organisational and planning abilities.
Ability to work independently while contributing to a wider team.
Previous experience in the automotive industry or a similar sales role is essential.
Technical knowledge of automotive parts would be a strong advantage.
