As a Recruitment Consultant at Staff for Education, you will be responsible for managing the full recruitment cycle, from developing relationships with schools to sourcing, supporting, and placing education professionals into rewarding roles.
This is a fast-paced, people-focused role that would suit someone who is motivated, confident, and passionate about making a positive difference in education and the local community.
Key responsibilities include:
Client & School Relationships
•Build and maintain strong relationships with local schools and education settings
•Understand client requirements and provide tailored recruitment solutions
•Manage bookings and placements, ensuring a high level of service at all times
Candidate Management
•Attract, interview, and register education professionals
•Support candidates throughout the recruitment process, from registration to placement
•Match candidates effectively to suitable roles based on experience, skills, and preferences
Business Development
•Identify new business opportunities within the local education sector
•Proactively develop your client base through calls, meetings, and visits
•Represent Staff for Education professionally within the local community
Compliance & Safeguarding
•Ensure all candidates meet safeguarding and compliance requirements
•Work closely with the Service Administrators to maintain accurate records
•Adhere to education recruitment standards and legislation
General Responsibilities
•Manage daily bookings and react quickly to school requirements
•Maintain accurate records using internal systems and CRM software
•Contribute to team targets and business growth
•Support colleagues and contribute to a positive team culture
The ideal individual will have:
•Strong communication and relationship-building skills
•Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
•Be highly organised with good attention to detail
•Be confident, professional, and resilient
•A proactive and results-driven attitude
•Previous recruitment experience (education or otherwise)
•Experience working within education or a people-focused industry
•Knowledge of safeguarding and compliance processes
•Full UK driving licence
