We are currently recruiting for an exciting Team Leader opportunity based in Leeds, within our client's London Market Claims function.
In this role, you will lead a team of Claims Adjusters who work closely with the London-based claims team and adjusters aligned to specific lines of business. The Leeds team is responsible for handling higher-volume, lower-value claims across a diverse portfolio, including Professional Lines, Financial Lines, and Marine & Energy Liability.
Key responsibilities
1. Lead and supervise a team of Claims Adjusters, providing regular support, coaching and 1-to-1s
2. Work closely with the London Market Claims Managers and wider London-based claims team
3. Oversee and manage a portfolio of high-volume, low-value London Market claims
4. Monitor team performance, workload and claim progress, ensuring service levels are met
5. Handle assigned claims from first notification through to settlement
6. Ensure accurate updating of internal and London Market claims systems and communicate key developments
7. Triage and prioritise claims in line with internal procedures
8. Manage relationships and service quality of TPAs, lawyers and loss adjusters
