About the Role
Youll join a highly skilled workshop team specialising in clutch and DSG transmission repairs, fault diagnostics, and complete gearbox rebuilds. This is a hands-on role suited to a technician who takes pride in precision work, thrives in a technical environment, and wants to stay ahead of the curve in emerging Hybrid and EV technology.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out clutch and transmission removal, repair, and refit procedures
Diagnose gearbox faults using specialist diagnostic equipment
Assist in the rebuilding and testing of DSG and other gearboxes
Support workshop efficiency, quality control, and best practice standards
Maintain accurate job records and uphold workshop safety standards
Key Skills & Experience
Proven experience in vehicle repair or diagnostics
Strong understanding of clutches, transmissions, and related systems
Ability to work accurately under pressure with attention to detail
Commitment to continuous learning and high-quality workmanship
Full UK driving licence
Must be able to work to book time or less
