Multi skilled maintenance engineer

A well-established FMCG manufacturing business based in South Wales is looking to recruit an experienced Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer with electrical bias to join their engineering team. This is a hands-on role supporting production and packaging operations within a fast-paced FMCG environment.

The Role

Electrical and mechanical fault-finding on production and packaging machinery
Reactive and planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
Installation, repair, and modification of machinery and equipment
Supporting production teams to minimise downtime
Working on site services including utilities where trained
Use of permit-to-work systems, risk assessments, and contractor supervision
Accurate completion of maintenance records and shift handovers

Essential Requirements

Proven experience as a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer within a FMCG environment

Electrical and Mechanical fault-finding skills on production and packaging machinery

Ability to respond effectively to breakdowns and work calmly under pressure
