Job Description
At Saint + Sofia, we create beautiful, sustainable fashion for modern life, designed in London and made responsibly in Europe. We believe great style should come with substance, and that how a brand shows up in the world matters as much as what it makes.
We’re looking for a Digital Editor to join our in-house team and support how Saint + Sofia is seen, talked about, and discovered across fashion, lifestyle, and digital media.
Role Purpose
The Digital Editor is responsible for editing high‑quality, on‑brand digital imagery and graphic content across e‑commerce, campaign and key feature areas to support commercial and creative goals. They ensure all assets are consistently graded, accurately retouched, well‑designed, correctly formatted and uploaded on time.
Key Responsibilities
* E‑commerce image editing: apply consistent grading in line with current e‑com imagery, carry out retouching, format images correctly and upload to the relevant platforms.
* Campaign image editing: match defined grading styles for campaign work, complete retouching to brand standards, and manage image formatting and uploading for all required channels.
* Key feature content: source imagery where required, create supporting graphic assets (e.g. banners, icons, overlays) and ensure correct formatting for web and other digital placements, then coordinate uploads.
* Ghost mannequin editing: process already photographed product imagery, ready to be formatted and uploaded
* Produce digital design assets that align with brand guidelines, including social media graphics, email headers, web banners and simple layouts.
* Maintain and develop digital asset libraries, ensuring correct naming conventions, version control and easy retrieval.
* Collaborate with photographers, stylists, e‑commerce, design and marketing teams to understand briefs and deliver assets that meet commercial and creative requirements.
* Ensure all imagery and graphic design adheres to brand guidelines, visual identity and quality standards.
* Work to studio deadlines and daily upload targets, flagging risks early and helping to streamline workflows.
* Support continuous improvement of studio processes, workflows and editing standards.
Person Spec
* Proven experience in a digital editor, retoucher, graphic designer or studio post‑production role, ideally within e‑commerce or fashion.
* Hands‑on experience with e‑commerce and campaign image editing, including grading, retouching, formatting and uploading workflows.
* Experience creating digital graphic assets for web, email and social, following existing brand guidelines.
* Experience working with ghost mannequin imagery and editing tools (or willingness to adopt new tools and processes).
Additional Skills
* Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite, in particular: Photoshop, Lightroom, InDesign and Illustrator.
* Proficiency in additional tools such as Sketch and Capture One for image and asset creation.
* (Desirable) Familiarity with Adobe Premiere Pro for basic video trimming or adapting existing assets for motion, with full video editing handled by a separate role.
* Strong understanding of colour grading, composition, typography, layout and exporting assets for digital channels.
* Excellent eye for detail and consistency, able to spot grading discrepancies, layout issues and retouching errors quickly.
* Good organisational skills, able to manage multiple jobs and priorities in a fast‑paced studio environment.
* Clear communicator who can interpret briefs, give and receive feedback, and work collaboratively across teams.
