Role details

An opportunity has arisen for a Financial Controller to join a diversified group in North Warwickshire. This commercially focused role is suited to someone who can deliver accurate financial reporting while supporting operational performance across manufacturing and property. You will lead the month-end process, produce management accounts, and oversee cost accounting. Working closely with operational teams, you will identify cost-saving opportunities, improve controls, and provide clear financial insight to support decision-making. The role also includes ownership of budgeting, forecasting, and capital expenditure analysis, alongside financial oversight of the property portfolio, supporting tenant contracts, lease compliance, and commercial negotiations.

Responsibilities of the Financial Controller

1. Efficiently close monthly ledgers and prepare detailed management accounts including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and working capital analyses.
2. Maintain and develop comprehensive cost accounting systems for all business activities, ensuring accuracy and relevance to support ongoing operations.
