Turner Lovell is recruiting a Project Engineer to join a highly successful engineering services business in sustainable energy and power grid infrastructure in Perth, Scotland. This is a fantastic opportunity for the right individual to join a rapidly growing organisation. You will join the existing team in delivering 33kV Cabling and Substation Projects in Scotland, and contributing to energy decarbonisation across the country.
Responsibilities
* Ensuring the planning, design, and execution of electrical and/or civil engineering works meet the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.
* Collaborating with design teams, contractors, and project stakeholders to deliver engineering solutions that align with project specifications, budgets, and timelines.
* Upholding the commitment to safety by ensuring that every project delivered reflects the business's dedication to creating secure, responsible, and sustainable solutions for both clients and colleagues.
Qualifications
* Proven experience in Civil engineering / Electrical Engineering roles within the electrical utilities or renewable energy sectors, specifically up to 33kV Cabling or Substation Projects.
* Degree in Civil or Electrical Engineering with 3-5 years design experience in substations / cabling projects.
* Strong track record of delivering engineering works on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
* Experience with site supervision and managing contractors.
