A welcoming and nurturing primary school in Watford is seeking an enthusiastic and caring Reception Teacher to join their Early Years team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate teacher to play a key role in children’s early development and create a positive start to their educational journey.
The Role
* Full class teacher responsibility for a Reception class
* Planning and delivering engaging lessons in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
* Creating a safe, stimulating and inclusive learning environment
* Supporting children’s social, emotional and academic development
* Assessing, monitoring and tracking pupil progress through observation and assessment
* Working closely with parents, support staff and the wider Early Years team
The Ideal Candidate
* Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Experience teaching within EYFS, ideally Reception
* Strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum and child development
* Creative, nurturing and enthusiastic approach to teaching
* Excellent classroom management and communication skills
