Payroll Officer – Immediate Start
Our client is a prominent organisation operating in the Huddersfield area and has an immediate need for a payroll administrator to join their team. This role is based in the Huddersfield area, involves working in the office and supporting the payroll function for a large business.
Responsibilities
You will assist with the three payrolls for approximately 600 staff. You will review timesheets, enter hours into the payroll system, calculate any additional overtime or allowances for payment. In addition to data entry, you will be asked to run reports and compile information relating to payroll. You will contribute to the smooth running of the payroll function, which is essential to the employees of the business. You must be confident answering general payroll queries.
Requirements
* Immediately available
* Sage 50 experience (2 years)
* UK Payroll experience
Office Based
You must be local to Huddersfield. Working hours are 9am - 5:30pm, Monday to Friday.
Compensation
£28,000 hourly equivalent.
