Lead IT Excellence at the Heart of Innovation
Our client, a dynamic and forward thinking organisation renowned for pushing boundaries in advanced engineering and manufacturing, is seeking a strategic and hands on Head of IT to lead their evolving digital environment.
With a global footprint and a growing UK presence, this role offers an exciting chance to steer all aspects of IT operations from infrastructure, cybersecurity, and software procurement to stakeholder engagement and strategic planning. You’ll be the critical link between cutting edge research, engineering teams, and secure high performance IT systems.

* Own and shape the IT function across multiple UK and international sites while working closely with a trusted MSP and internal teams
* Champion cybersecurity and data protection while ensuring world class standards like Cyber Essentials Plus are upheld
* Influence high stakes decisions around software procurement for core business functions including ERP, CAD, Simulation, HR, and more
* Collaborate with tech and R&D leaders to support ambitious IT driven product and process development
* Travel internationally including to the US to lead IT integration across the organisation’s operations
* Grow strategically by managing budgets, evaluating service delivery, and presenting to the board and senior leadership
About You
You’ll bring strong experience in IT leadership and infrastructure management, ideally with exposure to fast paced technical environments. You’ll enjoy solving complex challenges, building high performing partnerships, and bringing clarity to business wide IT strategy.

* Proven track record managing IT strategy, systems, and vendors
* A collaborative and hands on approach to stakeholder engagement
* Experience managing complex projects across departments
* Strong communication and influencing skills
* UK driving licence
* Experience working with MSPs and leading IT teams (desirable)
