Job description
Effectively carry out a range of cleaning duties. Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in the working environment, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Hours & Remuneration:
Shift Pattern: 9pm - am
40 hours per week (MONDAY - FRIDAY)
Rate of Pay : £
Duties
1. Cleaning walls, floors, machinery and equipment
2. Using chemicals & power washing units
3. Following specific cleaning schedules and procedures
4. To use specified chemicals and equipment in a safe and efficient manner
5. To store cleaning chemicals and equipment in designated safe place, away from food production areas
6. To ensure that all cleaning materials and equipment are used in conjunction with the COSHH instruction as displayed on containers
7. Report any incidents, environmental concerns, or equipment malfunctions to the Shift Manager
8. Completing checklists
9. Working to deadlines
Skills
10. Previous experience in a hygiene or cleaning role would be ideal, preferably in the food industry
11. Ability to perform physical tasks
12. Thorough and conscientious work aptitude
13. Willingness to learn, ability to work as part of a team under minimum supervision
