Assistant Accountant Oswestry (on-site) £35,000 to £42,000 Seymour John is proud to be partnering with an Oswestry based client who seek to recruit an Assistant Accountant to support the finance team with day-to-day accounting tasks. In this role you will ensure accurate financial records and compliance with company policies and statutory requirements. The role is ideal for someone detail-oriented, organised, and eager to develop their career in finance. Please be aware this is a full time office based role. Key Responsibilities * Assist with the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. * Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records. * Preparation of Balance Sheet Reconciliations. * Preparation of Profit & Loss Reconciliations. * Perform margin analysis on a Product Line basis. * Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. * Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies. * Support internal and external audits by preparing required documentation. * Collaborate with other departments to resolve financial queries. * Perform other ad-hoc tasks as assigned by the Finance Manager.
