Responsibilities
* Work with a highly experienced team on all areas of the game, both client and server.
* Contribute to coding, debugging, and performance optimisation - leading from the front when challenges arise.
* Work with our team to develop features that address, enhance and achieve the objectives of the game.
* Deliver and own the technical design and implementation of large-scale features.
* Play a key role in bug fixing and helping the team to deliver milestones.
* Take an active role in the mentoring and development of junior staff.
* Promote and uphold studio standards for code quality, architecture, and documentation.
* Be capable of working autonomously, gathering your own requirements and creating your own solutions.
* Be capable of learning a new language or technology without guidance.
* As a Senior Unity Programmer you will have a desire to focus and specialise your technical skills further, working with our teams to reach your next career step as a Principal or Lead.
* Be able to communicate effectively within a team and adapt to changing project requirements.
* Strong desire to learn new technologies and grow professionally.
* 5+ years of industry experience.
* Several years of C# experience.
* Deep understanding of Unity and also perhaps Unreal / Proprietary engines.
* Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, technical design, and debugging techniques.
* Excellent communication, mentorship, and problem-solving skills.
* Experience shipping games on various consoles, including PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series S/X, and Switch.
* Proven debugging and critical analysis skills.
* Proven ability working in a team.
Desirable Experience
* Experience with cloud services such as PlayFab and GameSparks.
* Experience with modern console development.
